Thunder Bay Community Foundation Grants

Community Foundation grants are made possible through the generous endowments and gifts of local citizens.  Each year, usually in early September, the Foundation issues a request for proposals from qualified charitable organizations in the District of Thunder Bay. We do not accept proposals from individuals or organizations outside of our geographic region.

Changes for 2010
- The application deadline for 2010 has been moved forward from October 31st to October 11th.
- The Foundation has a new office address.  We are now located in the Ruttan Block (Red River Rd. & Court St.)
- If you are unsure about which program you qualify for, please contact the office.

How to Apply

Application forms are posted to this website in early September and remain active until October 11th. Please note, the application deadline has been moved up to October 11th.  Applications may be sent by Canada Post, fax or email.  The Thunder Bay Community Foundation uses the Post Mark or email receipt as the date the application is received.  Applicants are responsible to ensure that their emails are received by our office by the posted due date.

When to Apply
The Community Foundation solicits proposals for grant applications once a year from September 5th to October 11th.  If you require information about our grants during the year please contact our office.
